Biography

Jonathan M. Schultz, founder and president of Schultz Financial Co. LLC, is a Cleveland-born native who started his career in business at age nine, cutting grass for several families in his neighborhood. He worked for the local grocery store during his first two years of high school until he landed a job at National City Bank (currently PNC), where he learned much about the intricate workings of the banking and financial world. During his senior year of high school, he worked for Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA), a position that taught him the complexities of how the US tax system is regulated and implemented. Following high school graduation, he accepted a position at the Ohio-based Margus Company, a commercial and industrial general contracting firm. During his tenure with Margus Company, Jonathan experienced every aspect of the construction industry including job procurement, project management, subcontracting, codes and permit procedures, job costing, and the application of current technology trends. At the same time Jonathan pursued these opportunities in the business world, he continued his education in the classroom. He graduated from North Royalton High School in 2006. He attended both Cuyahoga Community College and Cleveland State University. He completed both his BS and MBA in Accounting & Finance at Baldwin-Wallace University in 2010. Though the US stock market crashed in 2008, Jonathan continued his business ventures. He coordinated creative financing from various investors and other private entities to successfully purchase, renovate, and sell his first house.
